During its Q1 call to investors today, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that next-gen games coming from the firm will remain at current prices, at least through the holidays. This means you can expect the company’s games planned to release during the holidays to be around the $60 mark. This would include Far Cry 6 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. “For the Christmas games, we plan to come with the same price as the previous generation of consoles,” he said. “That’s what we’re focused on at the moment,” said Guillemot via GI.biz. The firm did not say whether it would or wouldn’t increase the price of games coming after the holidays, but it’s a possibility. GI.biz said the response from Guillemot was given over a question regarding whether pricing would be similar to 2K Games’ next-gen titles. 2K Games announced earlier this month NBA 2K21 will cost you $10 more on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
