Grounded was announced all the way back in November last year at X019, and Obsidian has been quiet basically ever since. On today’s episode of Inside Xbox, the developer confirmed that Grounded will hit Steam Early Access, and Xbox Game Preview on July 28. The game will also be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (PC/Xbox) subscribers on the same day. Grounded was pitched as a co-op survival game, but today, we got a good look at its single-player component. In Grounded, four children get shrunk down in size and must defend their backyard from bugs by crafting and building defences, all so they can grow back to normal size.
Xbox Insider program members can get even earlier access this spring, so sign up if you want to try it out ahead of the July launch.
